Snowboarding

Developing skills is an understatement. Jody Koenders managed to keep sports as one of the most important elements in his life and is always prepared to put his board to the test. During the past ten years he definitely proved the world to be undefeatable and despite some physical difficulties, Jody never gives up on his dream!

Lively, dynamic and at all times up for actively chasing his passion. At the age of sixteen, Jody first experienced the sensation of snowboarding. For at least ten years he made this an adventure of his own and as a professional snowboarder he traveled the world to compete with fellow snowboarders. He has already been the Dutch Champion of Snowboarding three times, entered the top 50 worldwide snowboard raking and joined several contests all over the world.

Sadly, Jody got badly injured during the prestigious competition ‘the Arctic Challenge’ in Oslo Norway in 2006, and needed to take a few steps back in his snowboarding career. Luckily, he is still able to live his dreams on his board and he has made sure that this will always be a big part of his life. Despite the fact Jody can’t snowboard on the same level as he did before, he’s still determined to never let anything get in the way of his passion.

And so we will continue to see his career and professionalism grow. Jody Koenders definitely shows us that motivation, passion and true focus survives anything!
